When I first saw those pictures of Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet at that basketball game, my first thoughts had nothing to do with their adorable date night. Instead, I was hyper-focussed on the 27-year-old's fresh French manicure.
I found myself squinting at Getty images and slacking Glamour's intrepid beauty and news editors, “Is it the court-side lighting or are her tips blue?” The unanimous response? A big ole, “I honestly can't tell?”
To be fair, this is pretty much as close as the cameras got:
I got my answer a few days later when Kylie Jenner posted a series of Instagram snaps taken en route from Los Angeles to Miami. Not only were the tips of her almond-shaped nails coated in a soft baby blue polish, but they were emphasized by a border of dainty silver studs, courtesy of celebrity nail artist and glazed donut nail originator, Zola Ganzorigt.
Ganzorigt also shared a snap of the “fun” French manicure on her own Instagram with the caption, “Can you tell that we're back for our fun nails?"

“Fun” is definitely the right word to describe this departure from Jenner's previous cherry-coded red nails. While many celebs have been sucked into the clean nail trend for spring 2025, Kylie Jenner continues to embrace bold colors and designs, from her chrome Coachella stars to the pink-on-pink French mani she sported in early March.
While a studded French manicure would look cute all summer long, the soft blue shade immediately earned the look a spot in my collection of wedding-inspo on Instagram (yes, I'm single). Not only would they cross off “something blue” from your bridal check list while adding a touch of intrigue to an all-white look, but the color and studs are nearly undetectable from afar, meaning they won't draw too much attention or look dated in wedding photo albums.
Of course, they also work for a variety of summer occasions and outfits, as Kylie Jenner is currently proving on her Instagram feed. What's not to love?
