You know how there's that old rule about when to wear white (something about Labor Day?)? Well, now there's new rule, per this incredibly chic look on Kendall Jenner. We are wearing white immediately. Specifically, we should all be wearing white pants with classic outerwear for spring.

Jenner was photographed at fashion week in Milan, Italy on February 24, wearing wide-legged white trousers, which she paired with black flats. Ironically, considering the white-after-Labor-day thing, the whole outfit is truly timeless.

To this ensemble, Jenner added a classic Burberry trench coat—the Camden car coat to be exact, worn fully buttons, and layered a navy blue pullover over her shoulders on top. She wore her dark hair down, and accessorized simply with narrow oval sunglasses. It may seem a bit counter-intuitive to wear one's sweater on the outside of the jacket, but this very slightly off-beat styling choice has been a fashion girly secret for a while now. Take a look at the sweaters-over-coats from fashion week back in 2024.

Meanwhile, 2025 was a big moment for the white jeans movement, and we began seeing white trousers everywhere. Clearly, that moment hasn't come to a conclusion just yet. Bella Hadid, Jenner's fellow supermodel, was spotted rocking a pair of crisp, cream-colored slacks in Aspen as recently as January. Like Hadid's Kendall Jenner's white pants ensemble reflects a certain ‘90s minimalism. This is probably no accident when everyone’s current favorite style inspiration is Carolyn Bessette Kennedy—who still defines that particular aesthetic.
