If you are very dry, think about a dimethicone based product, which helps sit on top of the skin to avoid the flaky look and can reflect light nicely to reduce the signs of aging,” says Dr. Gordon.
Which is better: liquid or powder foundation?
When it comes to choosing between liquid or powder foundation, there is no decisive winner. Both work well for different looks and occasions. Powder foundations can, however, be especially beneficial for those with oily or sensitive skin. “If you have very oily skin, powder may hold up better, especially in hot or sweaty situations,” says Dr. Gordon. “And if you have sensitive skin, powder may be a safer choice, since it often has fewer ingredients,”
